Hacking is one of Oswald's many abilities. He uses his remote to reprogram Beetleworx and hack into special boxes on walls that trigger certain mechanisms. When playing single player, the AI does this automatically, but when playing co-op, the second player goes into a hacking mini game. It's a first-person view of Oswald holding the remote, and the player moves the control stick around until the controller vibrates and the mini game ends.
- The way Oswald hacks and the mini-game functions in co-op is very similar to the Cryptographic Sequencer in the Batman: Arkham series.
