The Magic Brooms are characters from the 1940 classic feature film Fantasia and the sequel. They are primary antagonists in The Sorcerer's Apprentice segment. They have become famous since their release and have been cast in many Disney related productions and events.
In Epic Mickey[]
The brooms appear numerous times. Lifeless brooms can be seen seen in Yen Sid's studies during the opening sequence. The Magic Brooms also serve as the inspiration for the Sweeper Blotlings. The brooms later on appear towards the climax of the game appearing in the transition stages based on Fantasia. Magic Brooms are also seen during the ending credits chasing a Spatter.
In Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two[]
The Magic Brooms reappear in the sequel, in Yen Sid's lab. Like their appearance in Fantasia, they come to life by the Sorcerer's Hat and they fill a room with water and players have the option to either spray them with thinner to turn them back into lifeless brooms or carry on and ignore them
